Dr. Nancy Sylvanie
Dr. Nancy Sylvanie graduated Nova University and studied diligently to become an Autism Screener. She will soon be publishing her Screening tool, and can proudly report the tool is 98% reliable for detecting characteristics of ASD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ages 3-adult. Her specialty lies in the fact that she understands the disorder, and can also teach it to others so they understand in a clear way
It is with the utmost of professional dignity that Nancy joins the ranks of the educators who have made it to the top of the ladder. With equal assurance, she will continue the journey she set upon decades ago to invest her commitment, knowledge, and talent to assist children to succeed in the same manner.
Each day, she handles blood work-ups for patients, using these samples to create diagnoses and plans for patient in terms of treatments and special diets.
Dr. Sylvanie travels across the country to work with clients.
Looking back, Dr. Sylvanie attributes her success to her genes; she was born to do what she is doing. She became involved in her profession because she came from a military medical family. Her aunt was a Navy nurse and her grandmother was a nurse, as well. She worked with her grandmother in New York in a private psychiatric hospital and her career has progressed ever since.
Dr. Sylvanie received a Doctor of Education with a minor in autism from Nova Southeastern University in 2007. In addition to her degree, she is a certified autism screener, a board member of the Peoples Autism Foundation, and a member of Autism Speaks and Autism Enlightenment.
Dr. Nancy Sylvanie, a doctor in private practice, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in autism care.
